The newspaper staff of Abraham Lincoln High School will pledge to do their part to keep the school's campus open by picking up trash and encouraging people to show respect for the community. The Lincoln Log serves not only the students of Abraham Lincoln but also the surrounding community, so this pledge is an extension of our responsibility. We are looking for people who care about their school to come forward and join us.

- donate $100 to New Orleans: A Labor of Love to support volunteer and resource recruitment for the Gulf Coast
- donate $50 to Jenn Coffey's campaign
- not give any additional donations to the campaign of Barack Obama if he votes for retroactive telecom immunity
