If you think Ron Paul has a chance to win the 2008 elections, then by Nov. 2008 he will need over 60 million votes (number of votes for Bush in last election). So he better start getting at least 1 million people now and those people better show it soon. Hence the publicity and the power of collecting $100 million.

I would like help spreading this around; please help me do that and feel free to put it on different websites, posters, and the like.

  Schools of fish undulate in direction, leaderless, as do flocks of birds and it seems people do similarly with their need to vote for the winner when the absurdity of that is the winner is created by their vote. With people, the dynamic of that is not quite leaderless as powerful interests have learned how to manipulate. Ironically, it is not those few, but we the people have the votes to decide IF that is what we choose to do rather than go with the perceived flow of people voting. Don't wait to see what others will do. Be part of the dynamic. Change what others will do! We just got twenty million dollars of free publicity in the news by contributing more than five million dollars to Ron Paul's campaign this election quarter and we still have the five million dollars! What a deal! You can see how your contribution can do more for the campaign now than later. This "I will contribute if others will" pledge reminds me of throwing a party and inviting people who asked who's coming. I invited a lot and all of them wanted to come to a big party, but no one came because no one wanted to go unless all the others were going. Silly Earthlings! They are like that. • Hey folks - 100 bucks is one night out with your spouse. Stay home one night (2 in some areas), eat some Pop Corn, and enjoy your kids. If over a million people will cough up a 100 bucks to watch a football game every weekend, we should be able to attract 1 million pledges of 100 dollars by the end of football season, December 31. After all, which is more important, an evening out for a fattening dinner, a football game put on by the Roman Empire to keep you entertained, or the possibility that you grand kids could be the first generation entering the next Dark Ages. It's time to get serious about human individual liberty. If you want Liberty, you have to give Liberty and right now you can give it to your Grandkids for 100 bucks. Don't worry about you neighbors. • Hi, I'm the guy who put this pledge up. I have tried the email function of this site for the 1st time tonight, to see if it worked and 2. trying to promote Ron on 2 of the most popular websites. One guy politely complained and the other swore at me. Please let me know if you want me to share any Ron info and help to promote this pledge. • I believe every person is brought into this world for a reason. I honestly feel that this is the season for Ron Paul and the restoring of America. Having said that, Every one of the supporters of the great cause needs to know that we are here for such a time as this. This is our cause and this is our time. Do not let this slip away due to procrastination or second guessing. If you have not signed up on this pledge, do so now. Not tomorrow or later NOW!!!. One hundred dollars can never be the issue. • I think you should make it a pledge for 30,000 people to donate $25.00 a week until the end of the quarter. That's all it will take for him to meet his goal of 12k. I think there are 108 days left in the quarter. That way he'd exceed the goal, no problem, because other people will be donating money too. I'm doing it anyway. I won't donate the $200 unless a million others do the same. That's the pledge and a pledge is a pledge. I'll be giving him money no matter what. But the idea is for everyone to give and trust that they are not the only ones giving, that they will truly make a difference.

• I'm a Libertarian, and being a Libertarian means being a realist.
  
  Money sent to Ron Paul is nothing more than a contribution to his personal wealth---you DO know that he gets to keep what he doesn't spend, right? You might as well go ahead and send your hard earned money to me - I have about as much chance of moving into the White House as Mr. Paul, and I could really use the bucks.

  If you look at Ron's history of integrity you would see even if he raised a billion dollars that he would do the right thing and use it to promote freedom in this country. • I have known Dr. Paul for many years. He is a man of consistent beliefs and integrity. I really don't think our country is completely ready for eliminating the IRS and Dept. of Education, etc. HOWEVER, if One Million people will pledge money, then, he has a REAL chance of being better covered by the super liberal national media. THAT SAID, I am ready to pledge my $100 if others do the same!
