"I will write a letter to the editor of my local newspaper supporting Ron Paul's presidency but only if 100 other people will do the same."

Ron Paul is the hottest candidate on the Internet right now. With our help we can move from just the Internet to the newspaper media.
100 letters to the editors of papers across the country will garner quite a lot of exposure to those who don't use the Internet and already know that Ron Paul is our only hope for liberty this election.
Plenty of inspiration for your letter can be found here:

PledgeBank also just launched a Facebook application (see the purple box above the yellow one on this page); you can use that link to invite friends to sign this pledge.
Good luck!
We're one week away from August 1st and we're just over half way to our goal.
I've hit all corners of the web that I go to and have tried to get the word out about this pledge.
If each of you goes out and gets one person who supports Ron Paul to sign up here we'll have 100 people. This will give the campaign a huge boost if 100 individuals get their opinions out to the old media all at once.
Please go out and either blog about the pledge or leave a comment, or e-mail other supporters you know of.
We can do this.
We'll definitely get some examples of letters that people can write, also there's some good information on the net on getting addresses for where you'll need to send the letter.
Right now though we need more people. I spent most of the day yesterday trying to get the word out to the few places I've found on the net and we have 5 more people than yesterday. Get the word out in your corners of the 'net. We're almost there.

And thank you to everyone who signed the pledge, I can't wait to see your letters. If you can, send a copy of your letter to RonPaulWriters@yahoogroups.com so we can all get some ideas and join in the fun.
And why stop here...please sign up with 200 other people for our next round of letters:

Former San Antonio resident and Texas Congressman Ron Paul came to visit our fair city this past week. I was fortunate enough to hear him give a speech outside of the Alamo where he talked affectionately about his years in San Antonio. Here's what he had to say.
"It was an important time in my life because I was at an age where I was formulating many ideas and reading a lot and studying and of course was involved in a military activity and that helped formulate some of my views, at least I started thinking about, why are we involved in so many of these things that don't go that well over there? So this is the reason why I have come around to the firm conviction that we aught to look to the founders for our advice and
the idea of a non-interventionist, mind your own business, foreign policy makes a lot of sense."
As someone who spent a year in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom I would have to agree with him. We do not need to be over there and Ron Paul is the only Republican who has pledged to get us out.
If you want the war to end, even if you're a Democrat, vote for Ron Paul in the Republican primaries. That way we'll be assured that both candidates in the general election support bringing our troops back home.
