However, I DON'T like it in amendment form. Also, I do favor the arts, but in these times, art will survive, and has nothing to do with the physical environment. The only pork I will tolerate, comes from a food source, and I will NOT vote for anything in any gov't project which contains items that may be added by smarmy politicians. Bartering your vote or giving in to voter apathy (i.e. if others won't vote for it then I won't bother either) is a bad idea and could actually work against your intention of bolstering votes for the cause you believe in. I'm all for you trying to get others interested in a cause you believe is worthy but to say you won't vote for it if you don't get pledges is downright illogical. And I say this with all due respect as your action may have more to do with how this site works than with how you would go about this otherwise.
